PAC Award of Excellence


On May 17, 2010, Aki Chencinski received the PAC Award of Excellence. This award honours professionals who encourage their clients to consider charity as part of their estate planning process. They are the most ardent ambassadors and champions of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto and set a proud example for other lawyers, accountants and estate planners in our community.
 

Over the years, Aki has been involved with numerous charitable and community endeavours. Aki has been a member of the Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto for over 25 years. His involvement dates back to the inception of PAC and has been instrumental in the growth and success of this Committee and its value for the Jewish Foundation. Aki was formerly on the Board and the Treasurer of Adath Sholom Synagogue for a number of years. He was recently named Ontario's "Gutsiest" by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada for his fund raising efforts for that cause.




The Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto seeks to recognize those professional advisors who have made an outstanding contribution to the community. The professional selected for this annual award shall exemplify the highest professional standards and shall have made a contribution in one or more of the following three areas:

  • Contribution to his or her profession in Estate Planning for Charitable Giving
  • Volunteer involvement with the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto or United Jewish Appeal of Greater Toronto
  • Assistance in structuring gifts to the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto
