Jordyn Benattar

President and Founder, Speakwell

Jordyn Benattar is the founder and president of Speakwell, a global public speaking coaching firm that transforms professionals into world-class communicators. Her clients include startup founders, senior executives, and Fortune 500 companies. Jordyn is also a nationally acclaimed speaker, award-winning film and television actress, and lawyer. She earned her JD/MBA at the University of Toronto and worked at Goodmans LLP in Toronto and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York.

Jordyn is a guest lecturer at NYU Stern, coach advisor at Yoodli, YPO keynote speaker, executive coach at AIIR Consulting, and hedge fund coach at Arootah. Jordyn also serves on the International Advisory Council of ANKH Impact Ventures and The Hospital for Sick Children’s Campaign Cabinet.


Jamie Golombek

Managing Director, CIBC

As a member of the CIBC Private Wealth team, Jamie Golombek focuses on tax and estate planning, working closely with advisors from across CIBC to support clients and deliver integrated financial planning and strong advisory solutions. Jamie is quoted frequently in the national media as an expert on taxation, and writes a weekly column called “Tax Expert” in the National Post. He has appeared as a guest on BNN, CTV News, and The National, and has been a regular personal finance guest on The Marilyn Denis Show.

In 2023, Jamie was named a CPA Ontario Fellow, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a chartered professional accountant who has rendered exceptional service to their profession and in their communities.


Barbara Schechter

Executive Director, Stikeman Elliot

Barbara Schechter is the executive director of Stikeman Elliott’s Toronto office. A member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association, Barbara began her law career at a mid-size Toronto Bay Street firm where she practiced for 10 years, primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and banking law. Prior to her current role, Barbara served as in-house counsel with a Canadian telecommunications company.

Jonah Mayles

Partner, MNP

Jonah Mayles specializes in insurance, estate, and tax planning for private corporations, as well as high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families. Prior to joining MNP, he was a partner at Sterling Park Financial Group, and a tax lawyer at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and Torkin Manes LLP, where he focused on business succession planning, general tax and estate planning, advising on and drafting family trusts, and structuring/implementing sales and purchases of businesses. Jonah is a frequent writer and speaker on various topics relating to tax, estate, and insurance planning.
