Julien is a lawyer in the tax group at Fogler Rubinoff LLP. His practice consists of corporate and personal tax planning, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, cross-border structuring, and the taxation of trusts. Julien also has experience with voluntary disclosures, and regularly advises clients on departure tax. Prior to joining the firm, Julien was an associate in a Montreal law firm specializing in taxation law, where his practice consisted of tax planning and tax litigation.
Katy is an accomplished tax lawyer, whose practice encompasses all areas of Canadian and cross-border corporate income tax law for public and private companies. She serves as a trusted advisor to clients across a wide variety of industries, utilizing her deep problem-solving capabilities to analyze complex tax issues and provide practical, tailored business advice. Katy regularly speaks and writes on the taxation of cryptocurrency, executive compensation, and other tax topics. In addition to earning an LLB, Katy has also completed Parts I and II of the CICA In-Depth Tax Courses with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Andrew is a seasoned tax professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including estate planning, business succession planning, tax minimization strategies for high-net-worth families, mergers and acquisitions, and structuring inbound investments into Canada. Andrew’s practical approach and deep understanding of tax laws have made him a trusted advisor to many. A graduate of McGill University, Andrew is an active member of CPA Ontario, CPA Canada, and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Dylan leads the day-to-day work of the economics team at Rosenberg Research, focusing on developing the firm’s topical macroeconomic insights, thematic research, and conviction views. Dylan is a regular guest in the financial media and conference circuit. Dylan joined Rosenberg Research from McKinsey & Co., where he advised clients and senior partners on economic issues. Before that, he was an economist in Goldman Sachs’ Global Investment Research unit in London, U.K. Dylan holds an MPhil in economics from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
